The creed, or hymn, which Paul quotes in Philippians 2:6-11, expresses the depths of humiliation, degradation and alienation that Christ suffered while fulfilling his earthly mission of redemption.
It also expresses the ultimate exaltation of Jesus Christ which results in glorious cosmic and universal worship.
This is an amazing passage of scripture! Even more so because we are called to follow Christ’s example
