Learning to thrive in the new life Jesus offers us – 2 Corinthians 5:16-17

Quotations to share on social media #1

I haven’t written anything for my website just lately as I’ve been busy with another writing project. So, instead of a usual post, I thought I’d post a few quotations which I’ve been sharing lately on Instagram, TwitterFacebook, and Pinterest.

Here are three for starters, along with some hashtags you may want to use, plus links to articles which give more information on the quotations. (Let me know if you’ve got better ideas for hastags. I’m new to this.)

Please save and share.

  1. James Duke says:

Authority, function and status[Paul on women] only slightly off, Paul, as always, conception and birth;two functions without which the world would be without men…
Man’s contribution, small but important, but only takes us half way there.

    • Marg says:

Sorry James, You’ve lost me. I have no idea what you mean and how it applies to Genesis 1:26-28.

Certainly, without conception (which requires a man and a woman) and the resulting birth there would be no men or women.

    Hi, Marg.

The only social media I enjoy is Instagram and now I can follow you!

Thank you for these posts and #castelesschristianity. Fantastic!

    • Marg says:

I’m new to Instagram, but I’ll look out for you.

Casteless Christianity and New Creation living, because of Jesus our Lord, is pretty much what it’s all about.

I am sure that you do this but if not, before I use a new # I will go and take a look at the posts that predominate. This has been very helpful especially if the # is a person’s name. Best example was a Canadian Christian singer/songwriter who has the same name as a satirical cartoonist. I decided to use his record company name instead.
I found you and am following and noticed that #GodsDaughters posts were not what I had hoped they would be =] But #DaughtersofGod was not either. But I am hoping that your posts at the former may reach a new audience! Again, thank you for your posts.

      Hi Stephanie,

I usually post my images on Twitter or Instagram first, because they help me to choose hashtags. When I start writing a hashtag, they automatically suggest popular ones that are similar. When I type #biblical, the number one suggestion from Twitter is #biblicalwomahood. Disappointing that #biblicalwomanhood is so popular, but then again, like #GodsDaughters I use it to reach a different audience who I’d love to read my stuff.
