The following is every verse in the Septuagint (the Greek Old Testament) that contains the noun boēthos (“helper”) or the cognate verb boētheō (“help”). These verses are taken from Brenton’s edition of the Septuagint. (N.B. The chapters and verses of the Septuagint (LXX) do not always line up with the chapter and verses of the Hebrew Tanakh or English Old Testament.)

Genesis 2:18
Then the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper as his partner.”
