Pray for Nigeria

Many Christians in Nigeria are being murdered simply because they are Christians.  Please take a moment to pray about this horrific situation.

God uses our prayers!

Newlife Bible Study Group 2011

Wednesday night Bible studies will be resuming on the 9th of  March.

Our meetings will be held at the McDonalds near Tuggerah Station, which will be convenient for everyone.  We are also planning to hold our meetings only once a fortnight; again to make it more convenient for everyone.

We will be studying 1 Peter this year.  Some of the theological concepts are amazing, and so densely packed in the five chapters of this letter.

I’m praying that our meetings will be special times in God’s presence, shared with special people.

Let me know, if you’re thinking of coming.  We would love you to be a part of it!!!

Newlife Website turns 1

1st of August, 2010

On the 1st of August, 2009, this website, with only a few articles and pages, became accessible to the public.  In the past 12 months about 80 articles and Bible studies have been added.

My articles about gender equality in marriage and in ministry seem to generate the most interest.  While I think gender equality is a very important issue, my primary passion and motivation in ministry is to see people experience the intimacy and vitality of a close relationship with Jesus Christ.

Thanks for visiting!  I welcome your comments.

Pakistan: Christians killed & homes destroyed

2nd of August, 2009

We are presently supporting Javed with his ministry to needy Christian Children in Pakistan (See Ministries page).  In a village quite close to him – Gojra, 8 Christians were killed, about 18 people were severly injured, and up to 50 buildings, including a church, were badly burnt by Muslim rioters.  One of the buildings burnt was his sister’s home.

Another nearby town of Korian was also the target of  a Muslim attack, with about 60 homes destroyed on the 31st of July, 2009.  No one was killed in the attack but about 100 families were left homeless.

Please pray for these people undergoing persecution!
