Learning to thrive in the new life Jesus offers us – 2 Corinthians 5:16-17

In Christ, every day is a new day

Everyday is a new day

Every day God gives us the opportunity to make a fresh start and turn over a new leaf.

Every day God extends his mercy to us anew: Lamentations 3:21-23.

Every day, as Christians, we are being inwardly renewed: 2 Corinthians 4:16.

Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection we can walk in newness of life: Romans 6:4.

Jesus did not come to make us better people or to give us a better life. He came so that we could become new and live a new life in close relation with him, saved by him, and empowered by his Spirit!

Christianity is not just something we can add to our life. Real Christianity spiritually transforms and regenerates us, making us into something newTitus 3:4-6. It makes us more like Jesus himself: 2 Corinthians 3:18.
